Many students’ struggle in different subjects. For many tutors after a student has sat their exams, they don’t get feedback on the results which can be frustrating. While other students’ or their parents are happy to share how the child did.
Recently, a student came for help as they were struggling in A-level psychology. They told ‘tutor Sarah’ that their child received a ‘U’. After working with the student for a month, the school redid the exam for the student. When the student redid the exam, they came away from the exam with more confidence in their ability.
The following week, the parent contacted ‘tutor Sarah’ to say that they had heard from their daughter. They just received their grade from the resit. They went from a grade ‘U’ to a grade ‘A’.
