I have a master’s degree in International Marketing and I have a 2.1 BA (Hons) in Business Studies. Also, I am a very experienced personal tutor who specializes in 1 to 1 tuition and I am well versed in maths (KS3 to GCSE/IGCSE) and business studies (GCSE to A Level). In addition, I have an excellent record of students achieving their targets throughout the new grading system, whether it be a C up to A*.  

In many cases, my students reach their predicted grade months before their final exams and go on to excel beyond their original targeted grade. My experience ranges from students who are behind in the syllabus and in need of steady support and confidence building, to the more able students looking to achieve higher grades.

Furthermore, I have experience tutoring for scholarship entrance exams in some of the UK’s best schools such as Harrow and Eton. Also, I have experience in teaching students outside of the UK such as in France and Switzerland (IGCSE).

Moreover, my teaching philosophy is to be patient and to understand the students; needs and learning capabilities. This helps not only maximize the potential of the student but also helps them understand how the subject works on a fundamental level as I believe this can be encouraging and help build confidence in the subject overall.

In addition, I have created and annually modified worksheets (for the student to keep) to suit the new and more demanding specifications in schools. These worksheets are specifically tailored to introduce students to different exam-style questions and to help improve exam technique. Additionally, they have been structured for hourly sessions and are also a fantastic resource for revision outside of lessons. 

After certain learning goals have been reached, I will often assess the student’s new capabilities to assess their independence on the topics they have learned, in order to help with memory retention and reinforce their learning.
