GCSE English Course Online: Romeo and Juliet - Theme and Context

Synopsis
This course will explore how religion affected marriage and the family. How conflict keeps the feud alive and how honour is important to the families. It will also look at the love between Romeo and Juliet. Finally, it will look at how this is all done through atmosphere and mood.
Course Details
Day/Week 1
In this first week, we will be looking at religion during Shakespeare’s time. Also, how this affected family and marriage in this time period.
Day/Week 2
During this week, it will look at the conflicts within the two families, their feud as well as honour.
Day/Week 3
This week will look at Love and fate of Romeo and Juliet.
Day/Week 4
In the final week, we will look at the mood and atmosphere and the poetry that Shakespeare uses
Schedule Your Group Session
All courses will have no more than 8 students. Each small group course is designed for a particular level and subject. This is ideal for students who would rather learn with others. Each session is £15 per session.

We conduct our 1-2-1 sessions over Zoom, Google Meet, Learncube, etc. Students can book for 1-2-1 session.
