Synopsis

This course will look at the themes of ambition, good and evil. How the witches played their part in the play and how fate affected Macbeth throughout. In each lesson there will be questions and quizzes to help the student retain the knowledge of the course.

Course Details

Day/Week 1
In this first session, we will be looking at ambition, loyalty and betrayal
Day/Week 2
This lesson, students will focus on kingship, good and evil. Also, it will show how this affected Macbeth.
Day/Week 3
Following from the last session, the students will delve into the supernatural and what part the witches played in Macbeth. Also, it will expand to include reality and appearances.
Day/Week 4
In the final lesson, how did fate and free will affect Macbeth. In addition, this week will include the mood and atmosphere of the play and how it would have affected the audience.
