Synopsis
During the course, students will develop ideas using mind maps. Following on from this, students will turn these ideas into characters and settings through techniques and exercises. Finally, students will learn how to edit their stories and turn the sentences from tell into show. This will help to improve your story for the reader.
Course Details
Week 1
In this lesson, we will look at creating and developing mind maps and freewriting. Also, which narrative to use.
Week 2
Following on from last week, we will focus on creating and developing your character. Then you will establish a setting for the character and start your story.
Week 3
Moving on from the story you have created, we will look at how to develop it from tell to show, so that it creates more interest for the reader.
Week 4
In this final week, you will look at the characters and stories that you have created and learn how to edit your story so that you can improve your story.
Schedule Your Group Session
All courses will have no more than 8 students. Each small group course is designed for a particular level and subject. This is ideal for students who would rather learn with others. Each session is £15 per session.

We conduct our 1-2-1 sessions over Zoom, Google Meet, Learncube, etc. Students can book for 1-2-1 session.
